Walking in a winter wonder land.
( ^_^)/ やぁ!

I must admit I am a sucker for Christmas! I really love this season of warmth and hearty behavior unlike other people who see it more like a many eating stressed filled month. For me Christmas is all about my family and my friends. In our family we have one tradition, during one day in the Christmas season the girls of the family (my mom, me my siblings and my step sister) get together for a nice day where we make Christmas decorations (In Denmark we have a candle with the number 1-24 written on them which we lit every day until it reaches the 24th. We don’t celebrate Christmas on the 25th but the night between the 24th and 25th) listen to joyful Christmas music and just sit and have a nice chit chat :D This year I’ll be celebrating Christmas with my BF (in our ned apartment!!!) his mom and perhaps a friend of mine whose mom and her mother’s BF decided to go to Egypt without her. They said that if she wanted to join them in Egypt for Christmas she had to come up with 4000 kr ($750). That is a lot of money for one who hardly has 2000 kr for herself each month. So out of a good heart and because I really like her as the friend she is I asked her to join us in our celebrations ( ^ _ ^)∠☆PAN!

I couldn’t bear the thought of her sitting alone on Christmas day! I mean… How would you feel if your mom and dad suddenly decided to go to a foreign country to celebrate Christmas without you and THEN was told to earn you own cash to be able to join them… I got SO mad when I heard it! (,,#゚Д゚):∴;'・,;`:ゴルァ!!

Later on (mostly during a weekend) we start baking Christmas cookies. We bake them for the people in our family and for the people we like. They get a little box of mixed cookies. But mind you we bake cookies that is very common in Denmark, such as; Vanilla wreaths, Fins brød, Jew caked (I know I know!) and pepper cakes. It’s really one of the best moments during the entire Christmas season for me, to just spend time with those I love and finding them presents I know they’ll like! Well the reason to why I am making this blog is because I am in need of a new winter loli set (Not that I ever had any actually) and I have actually put together a set I really want. It’s a combination of offbrand earmuffs, Qutieland boots and a jacket from F+F.

My dream set!

In my opinion you are perfectly able to make a really cute loli winter outfit for a few cash (well less that if you bought it brand) and it is actually possible to make a nice pair of winter boost for just a few cash. It’s easier to make (in my opinion) a pair of classic loli boot than a sweet loli boot. All you have to do is just look for a pair of boots that goes either to the knee or mid calf in your desired color, just plaster on a few leather bows onto the boots and voila! A nice pair of loli boots for less than 600 Kr ($110). I just want to say thanks to Dorthea (A.K.A Miki-chan) for giving me this awesome tip :D Thank you darling (*^^)^*) ☆Chu!!

SO now that we are talking about outfits for winter and Christmas. What do you have of plans for Christmas and what is you dream outfit for the winter or just dream item? And last but not least, what do you wish for this Christmas?
Until next time we meet (^_-)サヨナラ

Befor we go!
Heres my dream set for

So tired.
~~~ヾ(^∇^)おはよー♪
I’ve been really tired the last couple of months. The entire apartment business has been really hard. Just thinking about having to say “no” to almost every social activity just drained all my “strength” if you can say It like that. BUT! Now everything is over ;D the old apartment is finally off our hands and vi can actually have a social life now. But I must admit that this weekend has mainly contained of sleep, wow and P’n’P so it was REALLY nice to see the old rpg group again, really missed those guys <3>(;_・)
Other good news is that I’ve really found my place in my new school. We have a huge project that is to be shown on the 1 of October (OMG). Okay I’ll try to explain what it’s all about: We are two main course (no not as in the dish) teams who where divided into small groups where we are to bake a cake that makes you think of a famous Danish writer. Our team got H.C Andersen (him who wrote “The Little Mermaid”) and we decided to go for a Tophat and a fairytale book with the letters “Der Var Engang” (Once Upon A Time). I must say I am ever so excited to start on this project! I just can’t wait for our group to get started! This is precisely what I want to be making when I become a pastry chef, desserts, colorful cakes and sweets for everybody whom I love ♪(ノ´∀`*)ノ
But a bad news is that it’s really hard to become a pastry chef here in Denmark, I either have to find me a pastry chef who wants to educate me, or go to Ringsted (which is VERY far away from where I love now, I would have to move there) to attend to their school for pastry chef. The problem is that I and my BF just moved and he just started on the University of Aalborg so we are kind of in a tight spot. And the only person in Aalborg who can train me already has another trainee (a girl in my class). It really makes me sad to know that hardly anyone needs a pastry chef anymore. Everything is industrialized! Nobody hardly wants’ handcrafted sweets anymore! But I still have my hopes up. I will be pleased if I could at least become a baker and afterwards perhaps become a pastry chef. I Really want to be a trainee of Mette Blomsterberg, one of the great Pastry chefs of Denmark, but that is one of those far away dreams ( ̄~ ̄;)
Until next times my cute little darlings (^ _ ^)/~~サヨ
Stressing out!
We are starting to almost see the end of the tunnel when talking about the old aparment. As you guys might know by now me and my BF have been speding two months trying to fix and paint the old aparment, in order to make it liveable again. Wow there was a LOT of mold in it YUCK! And it wasn't even our fault. It's all because of the age of the place. The entire house is from the 1800, crocked and very bad isolated (maine reason for all the mold).
But we are truely starting to get rather desperate in trying to get it all done for the 30'th this month! We still have a little we need to throw out and a load of boxes we need to deliver to our new place! But the problem is that we just can't seem to get the help we need for this task plus we need to either get a new stove or some new plates for it. Everybody seems to be so darn bussy every weekend and we CAN'T drive since we don't have driverslicens (In Denmarks it's VERY expensive) and we don't have our own car... I'm feeling so stressed.
I really hope someone will help us soon... ._.
Sorry for posting a "BAAW life is so tough on me!" post but I kind of needed it :/
Rule of Rose
I myself am a great fan of horror games and especially Japanese horror games (Resident evil, Silent Hill, F.E.A.R, Calling etc) and I can’t believe I didn’t come across this came earlier! Thanks to a friend of mine on Facebook I got to know “Rule Of Ros
e” (ルールオブローズ,) which is a Japanese horror game made by Atlus who I am not familiar with. But they decided to make this game for the PS II and it was published in EU on the 3 of November 2006 but due to some problems in the game the game was NOT released in the UK.
The Story (from wiki since I can’t give a review if I haven’t played the game, duh!)
Players control Jennifer, a young woman who is led to an abandoned mansion by a small boy. She follows the boy into the mansion's attic, and is led to a grave in the courtyard of the mansion. She digs up a coffin with a bloody sack inside it. Four children sneak up on her and pour water on her, before shoving her into it. She passes out, and awakes in an abandoned airship ruled by a cruel group of children known as the Red Crayon Aristocrats. Under the threat of death, Jennifer must appease the Aristocrats by finding an offering for them each month. While doing so, she must piece together clues and recall forgotten memories which will ultimately allow her to escape. Each chapter of the game is introduced with a storybook that loosely describes the characters and the theme that it's based upon, each with a specific time in which it took place.
Jennifer finds and grows close to Brown, a dog who comforts her while she endures the torment inflicted on her by the other children. The sickly Wendy grows jealous, especially as her friend spends more time with the dog. As the game continues, it is revealed after Jennifer was orphaned, she was cared for by Gregory Wilson, an unstable farmer who renamed her Joshua after his dead son. Wendy discovered Jennifer, initially mistaking her for a boy, and eventually convinced her to leave; she helped her escape, but not before taking the gun Gregory owned. The two renewed their promise of "everlasting, true love" and Jennifer's stuffed bear is exchanged for Wendy's brooch. Wendy then took her to the orphanage.
Later in the game, the setting changes from the airship to the orphanage after Jennifer retrieves the stolen teddy bear and is made a member of the Aristocrat club. Frustrated, Wendy forces her to choose between her own life or Brown's and frightened, Jennifer allows Brown to be killed. Afterwards, she slaps Wendy and casts aside her brooch, hating the Aristocrats and herself for being too cowardly to oppose them. After this, Jennifer replaces her as the leader and the tale of the Stray Dog is cast aside as Wendy's lie. Angered by Jennifer's love for Brown, Wendy brings Gregory, whom she trained like a dog to obey her, to the orphanage and the orphans are slaughtered by him. Wendy then commands him to attack Jennifer before leaving.
Halfway through the fight, Brown inexplicably returns to aid her. After Jennifer manages to subdue Gregory, she walks outside and discovers that the boy is actually Wendy in disguise. She confesses that she was wrong, and gives Jennifer the gun that they had stolen from Gregory before he snatches her into the house. After attacking Jennifer, he apologizes to her and commits suicide with the gun.
Reflecting on her previously forgotten memories, Jennifer reveals that after it was discovered she was the lone survivor of not only the orphanage massacre but the airship crash that was thought to have no survivors; the murders were pushed into an obscure corner of the newspaper. She makes peace with her past and vows to remember her friends.
The game has been talked a lot about due to some of the content in the game; animal cruelty, sexual themes, and bloody violence amongst pre-teens which had awaken the fury in some countries. England forbad it to be released since they thought that It might affect many youngsters in the UK and they saw the PEGI rating as to low (16). In my opinion I want to play the game merely for the fact of it being trashed really hard. Many gaming sites has giving it a bad rate based on the game play but still most of them like the story.
The graphic of the game is highly stylized and resembles Silent Hill a lot and to an extent, Resident Evil. I can’t help but seeing Ashley Graham (from Resident Evil 4) in her with the little round face and all. A major theme in the game is the difference between a child's and an adult's way of thinking and how children might treat adults if they were given power over them. Players are helpless to prevent their adult player-character from being bullied by the children. Another is how attachment "to one thing can bring out the worst in people." But all in all this is a game that I would love to play but sadly can’t since my old PS II is no more. I don’t crave the game enough to want to spend money on buying a new PS II merely for the purpose of playing RoR (and I’ve thrown out all my old PS II games, lol)
!!!WARNING!!! Many will find thsi a VERY mean thread, but I mean every word of it. I this means you won't be following my blog anymore I won't be mad, just don't troll me or write a hate comment as an anon for thats just low.
Im sooo fat! Look at me! Fat fat fat! And I weigh 50kg OMG! Isn’t it funny how everybody is obsessed with their, and everybody else’s, weight these days? I know it started back in the 80’s with all those fancy fitness places opening op everywhere, telling you you had to look healthy and slim. Too bad it’s escalated to a whole different level now. Now girls (well in my eyes) are being skinny simply for the cause OF being skinny, there’s no REAL reason for it. It’s not to be healthier or to lower their calories or even to get a normal bloodpreasure... it’s because the fashion industry and everyone affected by it crave that you starve yourself to the rim of death before you can rightfully call yourself beautiful. And this even accurse in the Lolita fashion world as well. I know many girls who hold the Japanese idolisation of the body as their “Thin-spiration” so they too can fit down into JSK with a waist of 65 cm. It’s somewhat sick! I know there are girls out there who are born thin and just can’t gain weight, I was one up and until I turned 20. I used to be a really small and skinny girl who could eat whatever I wanted without gaining so much as a few grams and look at me now! I just have to LOOK at a pie and I gain 5 Kg (just a figure of speech) and now it sickens me to see girls fall into the sick game of “Fashion says” where one step out of the ordinary may cost you other people’s social acceptance of who you are. I get angry when I see girls with anorexia and bulimia trying to blame the world for their troubles and condition. GIRL! You chose to participate in the “fashion says game” and you lost it! So stop making it everybody else’s fault simply because you couldn’t control your urge to look like frigging Kate Moss! It’s not beautiful no matter how much weight you’ll manage to loos you’ll always be ugly, I know this is rough and really bithcy to say but please, have you looked at an anorectic girl lately? No? Well you should. Their skin is unnaturally pale, they got bag under their eyes or petruding eyes, their skin seems older and you can see every friggin bone in their body! I know all of you at there would scream into my head and say “HEY! Those poor girls have a problem they can’t control! SO stop being an ass, bitch” No I won’t. This is not me being butt-hurt over thin girls, this is me being angry with them for letting their body rot away due to some stupid ass dream and a sad try to try and control what little they have left in their lives, their eating habits. I myself had a classmate once who suffered from anorexia and I just couldn’t find her to be pretty in any way and I always wondered what made her adopt this insane though of needing to lose weight at an alarming rate... Mostly it’s a sort of defensive mechanism triggered in the brain when you loos control over your life to make you feel, like mentioned before, that you can still control one thing. I won’t say I’m sorry for writing this for I’m not. A lot of those girls can’t see that they have a eating disorder and mostly they won’t accept people trying to help them, or in their world, hindering them from gaining their dream weight. But one thing I really hate with these kinds of girls are those who write about it to everybody they know, on Twitter, facebook, MySpace, Tumblr you name it. If you do so you don’t just make it your own problem, you make it EVERYBODY'S problem and you pull them into your web of constant despair over being “fat” and that your life sucks! Stop it. If you have to tell everybody you know expect people to comment on your whiny, sad-ass, my-life-is-a-living-hell, because-my-parrents-and-docter-don’t-get-my-problems blog, with some really harsh and maybe even mean comments, but hey that’s life! Stop disrespecting your own body and stop being naive and stupid enough to fall for the “skinny twig girl” trap that the fashion industry is laying out for you to fall right in. You are beautiful as your normal self, not as a thin borderline girl who has zero control over herself or her life. Really girl! Love yourself for who you are because even though you reach your dream weight you will still think you look fat when you see yourself in the mirror. If you can’t accept who you are then how do you expect the world to do it?
Liek omg!
(^-^*)/コンチャ!
Before anyone comments on my miss-spelling it's meant to be spelled "liek" and not "like" ;D
Okay, so, Me and my BF finally move into our new apartment and it’s SO great! There’s kids everywhere (who can be noisy at times) but mostly it's a nice a quiet area we live in. It took a while for us to move into the apartment, mostly because we STILL have a few boxes in our old and still got some junk to throw out before we can rightfully say that we have moved out for good. It’s all slowly coming toget
her now and we still wish for new furniture’s. For the first couple of days in our new place we did not have a fridge since my dad wasn’t able to transport it over to our new place, so we had to live on noodles and stuff that wouldn’t go bad outside the fridge. But after 4 days you grew tired of it. Anyway we have begun the work on making the old place look nice, which means; Cleaning, re-painting, repairing and what not so that it will end up looking really neat again. I must say I’m glad we moved away from there. We have had nothing but problems with the old apartment. moisture, mold, cracking paint (because we had a shower in the bedroom and there was poor ventilation even with open windows), a bad window in the bathroom that kept the rain out but weren’t isolated and therefore the heat slipped out during winter, a crooked stove which warmed unevenly, it was all on two floors and, last but not least, the apartment itself was uneven (since it was very old)... Our landlord wasn’t good at getting things orderly when we asked him about it. It took him three years to patch up the holes on the house facade, which gave us mold in our living room. He didn’t fix the radiator which a blacksmith had after we had told our landlord that none of our radiators would warm up a winter. One senses clearly that he only has these three apartment (ours being on of them) so that he can earn a little cash. It lies under the Danish Standards for what one should live in. .. But hey, out of sight out of mind, right? ( ̄- ̄ )
People kept telling us that they just couldn’t understand that he could to let us stay in the apartment, with all the mold that was there. It might easily have made us sick and even caused me to develop my asthma again. We tried many times to keep the worst down, but it came back and now it has left some rather ugly stains on almost every wall in the apartment ガ━━Σ(゚Д゚|||)━━ン!!
Now we started to put the old apartment into a position so that it will hopefully end up being more habitable for the next tenants. The worst thing about it is all the sloppy with the paint work done around the place ... and the funny thing is that our landlord is trained master painter. But at least we’ll hopefully end up making it better than he did. We make sure to use something proper paint, which can reject water and will hold for a couple of years. It’s nice to have an uncle whose father is a master painter too, and a stepdad who was previously vice-chairman of a housing association, so he knows what we should repair and what we shouldn’t repair.
Hopefully we end up getting a super nice apartment at the end. Enough about the old apartment. I just started on Food College here on August 2 and it has been some really good two weeks already. We started with two introductory weeks where we had to try different kinds of workshops. Each intro-team had to make a little bit of food for the final, and huge, intro-buffet for every intro-team where was. When we had eaten and cleaned up after us we were distributed out into different groups which matched what we wanted to become later on. I’m going to be a backer so I’ll be attending a backer team. Can’t wait to start my education as a backer and hopefully, later on, a pastry chef! On Monday I’ll be starting my actual education O(≧∇≦)O
My team will first be getting our schedule on Monday and awarded a contact-teacher who will guide us if we have problems, or can’t show up to class. I've even got me two uniforms and a pair of shoes that I MUST wear every day at school. The teachers aren’t allowed to let us into the bakeries without us wearing our uniforms, due to hygienic reasons, of course. And I must say I really fancy my uniform! I have already learned how to bake the first couple of things. Baguettes, Danish brunsviger cake, cinnamon, buns, Swiss roll and biscuits. I am simply crazy about having to train as a baker! I love being inside the bakeries. I will say that I am sorry for the lack of entries lately. I’ve been super busy with the moving and my education so for that I am sorry
Until next time darlings, have fun (^ _ ^)/~~サヨナラ
Don’t be a woman, don’t be beautiful.
Meanness is one of the things in the world I see as one of the ugliest features of human beings have. Our eternal ability to continually identify the deficiencies of other people, while we ourselves are looking at our own body as the synonym of perfection, or it is merely a precarious facade of uncertainty that is clouded by contempt and hatred towards people who are "different "?
Whatever it is one thing which many people should work to remove from their human traits. It is ugly, unattractive and decidedly destructive to a point where if provoked enough.
Many believe that we dress in different clothing style just to gain other people's attention and stand and bask ourselves in the limelight ... But what people do not know is that this is a horrible misconception on their part and that they should immediately change this mindset. We do not do it to get a kick or to have people staring at us. We do it because it is us! We love the style we wear! We do it because our styles show who we are as people, as an individual ... We do it because we feel comfortable in them.
So to believe otherwise is a sad and petty mindset that has only been created from the concept that everything that stands out from what is seen and normal is something that does not belong in our otherwise very orderly society. I have even been hailed several times for being dressed in my two clothing styles, punk and lolita, which I wear with pride and my head held high. But still I can’t help but feeling that they get to me every time, even though i cover it behind a smile of kindness towards their ignorance and stupidity.
It can be decidedly hard to be different and I know of many cases where people have been decidedly nasty against people who do not look like them. Sometimes it's even gone so far that people are hurt because people have attacked them and beaten them. I will here draw your attention to a tragedy which happened in August, 2007 where a young woman named Sophia Lancaster was kicked to death after defending her boyfriend against two young teenagers, 15 and 16 years who attacked them because Sophia and her boyfriend was Goth.
She and her boyfriend came to hospital with severe injuries but Sophia never woke from he’s coma and died 13 days after she was hospitalized. There was made a movie to celebrate her and her heroic quest to rescue her boyfriend, and what frightens me the most is that it was two teenagers who assaulted them. Where had they learned behavior from? From their parents? The media? The school? Their friends? Their friends' families? One thing is certain and that is that it is crazy that young people react so violently against people they are dressed differently.
You'll even get accosted as Lolita. I have before heard of young lolitas being called whores, freaks, disgusting and the list is long. The worst thing about it all is that people who attend this type of repugnance just pretend that nothing happened and just look like the other way because they do not wish to become a part of it, and when you ask them why the heck they didn’t say or do something, most just say "it's your own fault for going dressed like that, you are provoking!"
Provocative? How can people rightfully call laces, curls and bonnets for provocative? Is it provocative that I walk down the street with a puffy skirt, kneesocks, a T-shirt with a kitten and a bow in my hair? No, it's not! It is simply too corny and decidedly childish that it can people can be so sensitive about other people's personal style! So what if we do not want to imitate all the other pop-girls? Is it really so bad to go against the tide? To make us self stand out as an individual rather than being another sheep in the flock? No it is not! It indicates courage and a spirit to want to be something others are not! It is this type of people that make the world evolve. If we were all just similar to one and another, there will be nothing beautiful in this world. It would be gray and boring. So let's just make the world and earth more beautiful with our laces, curls and poodle bags.
Think about that every time you see a lolita you can see it as a decoration on the white wall which is the world. Each lolita, punk, kei, goth, rave, beat nick, ganguro and so on is just another addition to the beautiful mosaic that is humanity. See the colorscheme you set your foot in each day and rejoice that we are all so different as we are. See us not as a plague or as freaks, but as another human being who is just dressed differently. We are people .... Brothers and sister related in the spirit. Whether one is dressed in black or pink we are all humans and we all live on the same earth and breathe the same air. So next time you see someone who does not look like you in the clothes, don’t frown at us. Talk with us! We are so open to sharing our world with you, but it's hard if you will not let us. Just ask us serious questions and we will gladly answer.
In loveling memory of Sophie
